2. What is the difference between PGL and Nation?
(posted May 2010)

Nation is the term use for the non-competitive house league within District 3.

PGL is the competitive house league within District 3, named after Paul-Guy Lalonde, a long time volunteer in minor hockey within District 3.

3. What teams are in our District?
(posted May 2010)

District 3 is comprised of all seven (7) minor hockey associations in Prescott-Russell counties (excluding the portion of Russell Township west / Concession IV) and two (2) organizations: minor hockey clubs administering "AA" and "A" minor hockey teams known as Eastern Ontario Cobras. Players from our region can also tryout for other competitive teams like the ICEDOGS (Rep B) and the Eastern Ontario Wild (AAA). The ICEDOGS are usually a combination of competitive players from the EMHA and the CMHA (Casselman Minor Hockey Association) that play in other Ottawa leagues like the Ontario East Minor Hockey League (OEMHL).

Note: Both the Eastern Ontario Cobras and the ICEDOGS play outside the District 3 schedules.
